Redang getaway trip

Finally... the day has come and gone. The trip to redang beach that we've been planning all along since semester 2 has finally came true.So, here's the detail about my experiences.

We bought a bus ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Trengganu  which departs at midnight. Sadly, the bus delayed for an hour. During the trip, I can't sleep at all and don't know the exact reason of it. Could be because either I'm too excited or the seat is not comfy at all. And so, we all set forth on the journey to Kuala Trengganu. During the stop around 3 AM in the morning for some snack..I took the opportunity to take a picture.

After that, the bus continue to move its way to Kuala Trengganu. On the bus station, we got picked up by a bus from the hotel which will take us to the jetty dock. Before we reach the jetty, we stop in some place for breakfast. It was "nasi lemak" but it's taste kinda different, it taste sweet. Then, after we reached the jetty dock we have to wait for a while until our ship come. During that time, Danny and I have to look for some place to change our shoes to sandal and our long pants into shorts. We did found a place to change but god knows what kind of smell that place produce. After changing our shoes and pants, we look around to look for some souvenirs ... in the end, we only bought some containers to put some beach sands in it. And then we set forth to redang by our "lovely" ship.

Day 1

We arrived at redang around 12 or something. check in our room and have our lunch in the hotel. After that, I put on sun block around my body to avoid sun burn and hit the beach just before snorkeling time. During my attempt to swim on the shore, Novemson claimed that he saw a baby shark which I couldn't see because I didn't bring my swimming google . After "swimming" for a while, I go back to my room to grab some cash to rent the snorkeling tools (life jacket and the googles) and go for snorkeling shortly after. It was such a fantastic experience to see something underwater by my own eyes although I've seen a lot of stuff much better than this on TV.  After snorkeling for god know how long, we head back to hotel. Here's our first mistake, we head back to our room instead of sitting in the restaurant for our tea time food. By the time we finished showering, there's nothing left for our "tea time" (so much for our tea time). And so, we spend the rest of our day with taking pictures like crazy around the beach and writing names on the sands.

Day 2

we did plan to wake up early to watch the sunrise .... but failed since everyone was too tired from all the sleepless journey and also we were late for the breakfast since everyone is just as overslept as the other. So, without taking shower I took out my cup noodle and eat it in the restaurant with the complimentary orange juice. And then shortly after breakfast I head back to my room to apply some sun block and change for snorkeling. Today, we got 2 snorkeling trip but I only planned to join 1 trip and spend the rest of the day exploring the island  with taking one hell lot of pictures. The first snorkeling trip is to watch some coral or something. But, since it was kinda shallow, a lot of people got injured by accidentally kicked the coral which is kinda sharp ended. After returning from the first snorkeling trip, I told the others that I won't join them for the second trip which is to marine park. At first, I thought that I will be alone in this. Unexpectedly, Frans who got his feet injured from the first snorkeling trip also didn't want to join the second trip. Dyana also don't feel like going to the sea anytime soon because she felt some mild sea sickness and with Dyana not going, so does Nella. So, I got 3 accompanies ... my exploration trip is not so lonely afterall.

Later that night, we went to "more more tea" to look for some souvenirs and actually seen the place. After we reach "more more tea" we did took some picture, But it was in Danny's camera so I couldn't upload it here. After taking some picture around "more more tea" we decided to sit for a while and gazed at the sky filled with star which we can hardly see in KL. After that, we head back to our "sanctuary" a.k.a hotel room to get some rest for we have to check out at 8.30 the next day and catch our boat back to Kuala Trengganu at 9 am.

Day 3

Today, we did planned to wake up early to watch sunrise and so we did wake up early even before the sun has rise. But, I back out just before I could see the sun for some sleep. I knew that if I didn't get my sleep, I would feel nausea and it will not be good because we still have to sail to the Kuala Trengganu jetty dock. After we arrived at Kuala Trengganu's bus station, something shocking hit my brain. NO MORE BUS TICKET LEFT TO KUALA LUMPUR!!!!. Oh My God, this must be a joke. But, it wasn't a joke and we almost have to stay overnight in Kuala Trengganu. But, luckily we take a detour to Kuantan which took like 4 hours. It was a horrible trip to Kuantan because along to trip there's a little girl stand on the back on my seat and she kept bugging me unconsciously. Luckily, as we arrived at Kuantan at 7 pm we got a ticket to KL at 8pm which is like immedeately. The bus is kinda comfy but the driver's not so comfy because the driver drive like an old granny who like to speed up and break like hell. The bus' name is Plusliner.

So,overall... redang was great but the passage to that awesome place is terrible.
